Steps for downloading the Original KJV Bible:

When you click on the link for the Bible (given below), a box will appear asking you to open it.  Open with Microsoft Office Word by making sure that selection appears in the white selection bar, then click OK.  It should then open on your screen, but not in its searchable form or correct format.

In the upper left bar, select "File", then click on "Save As."

When a box appears, go to the top selection bar, and make a selection as to where in your computer you would like the Bible to be stored, (such as Documents), then click on "Save" in the lower right corner of the box.  Close the box, your Bible is saved as an .rtf document.

When you go to open the Bible to use it in an operational mode, you'll first need to select "Open" then in the box select the location of the stored Bible (i.e. Documents), and then in the bottom selection bar in the Open box, select "all files" rather than just html files so that you can view it on your list within your computer.  Check the list within the box to see if it appears.

To open it, right click once on it, go to "open with" on the list that appears, then select "word pad."

The Bible will then open in its searchable form.  Always use Word Pad to view it.
