| "Dryland farmers in the high plains of New Mexico, like their counter- parts in Texas, Oklahoma, and parts of Kansas, will not harvest crops this year. The soil is dry down to a level of at least 10 feet. Most farmers will consider themselves lucky if they can get a combine through their fields to collect seeds for next year's planting, Never seen every segment of agriculture hurting so bad. Not only is he talking about lost wheat, cotton, and milo crops, but of ranchers struggling with no grazing land and high feed prices, and dairy farmers who cannot sell milk at prices high enough to offset the high cost of feed. Diehl further prophesied that while some crops will be dying for lack of water, others will be rotting in the ground due to floods, and that many of our foods will simply be deemed "not fit to eat."
On May 21, 2008, it was announced that Iowa will not be harvesting its corn, because its corn crop has been "layed down" and made worthless by excessive rain. (ABC News) |

"A prophetic drought is now being directed at America's waters; They will be dried up, and her crops will fail for lack of water. .In instances where her waters are not dried up, America's crops will rot in the ground from excessive moisture. .And, in cases where she does manage to get her food stuffs to market, most of them will not be fit for human consumption; and much of it will cause serious health risks.".
