In the first century after Christ,.seeing it as a way to raise more money for the Roman Empire:. As stated in the Official Encycleopedia of the Roman Catholic church, the link to which we provide below:. Roman Emperor Trajan decreed that Christians must UNITE with their pagan neighbors in the worship of the god(s).

This, in turn, would then allow him to form a church of unprecedented size,. and would thereby provide the empire with unprecedented amounts of new (multiple) sources of revenue.

Emperor Trajan then feigned the kidnapping of Ignatius, who had personally known Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and who was at that time head bishop of the Christian Church in Antioch,Turkey, whom, after a purely alleged whirlwind promotional tour of most of the known world:  From the cage in which he was allegedly being kept by Roman soldiers on this tour, which they claim contained ten leopards, and other wild beasts to control him; Ignatius allegedly voluntarilysupported the forming of Emperor Trajan's new "church" in Rome.  Trajan then allegedly brought Ignatius to Rome, where "saint" Ignatius is claimed to have then promptly turned against everything he'd ever written, taught, believed, and all that he knew to be a fact, and together with Trajan, they allege that Ignatius voluntarily helped to form the Roman Catholic Church:  But was then later fed to the lions in an. UNHEARD OF. private ceremony which only his two friends (Polycarp and Philo) were allowed to attend.

All other events involving people that were being fed to lions were, in every instance, publicized well in advance, and attended by thousands.  This fact alone indicates that Ignatius being "privately" fed to the lions never happened.

The other (more likely) scenario is that Trajan kidnapped Ignatius from his church in Antioch, murdered him, buried him just outside the city's gates, then.FEIGNED. that he (Ignatius) had gone on this whirlwind tour with the Roman soldiers to promote Trajan's new church, then on to Rome with them, and that he (Trajan) now had Ignatius' help, and his support, in building the "church" of Rome, when in fact Ignatius had long since been dead and buried just outside the gates of Antioch, Turkey.

Author's Note:
At this point, although this report is not actually about the Catholic church, the cold hard facts are that until the time of Martin Luther in the mid sixteenth century, there WAS no other Christian Church in existence.  Therefore, anything that happened to Christianity during this period of time, be it good or bad, took place during the watch of the Catholic church.  With that said, we as authors would like to begin this report by demonstrating just how riddled with lies the accounting of the Catholic Church Encyclopedia's claims are regarding the church's alleged founder's (Ignatius') so-called, but purely deceitfully alleged execution into martyrdom, by pointing out that the church claims to have  no idea  as to "at what point in time" Ignatius was executed:  whether it was in the year 98 A.D, or nineteen years later in the year 117 A.D., or at some point in between, so that no researcher could ever even begin to go looking for EVIDENCE of this strictly STAGED execution.

Whereas, the church claims that (1) after originally burying Ignatius in Rome after his alleged execution, (2) his friends Polycarp and Philo allegedly moved his body 1,800 miles back to Antioch, Turkey, then buried him at places unknown - but "outside the gates" of the city, (3) then, without having any idea when Ignatius died;  (4) Without knowing his original burial spot; (5) Without knowing exactly "where" outside the gates Ignatious was (at that time) buried:  (6) The Catholic church claims to have first moved his body hundreds of years later into the Antioch Cathedral; (7) Then, hundreds of years after all the above church absurdities, the POPE claims to have. "translated". the body of Ignatius from Antioch, Turkey, back to ROME, without ever exhuming it, and in fact, without ever even claiming to know where it was, or is.  All of which was done so as to create yet another tourist attraction for the vatican.  They actually invite people to kiss the vatican's statue of Ignatius (probably for a price), which supposedly sits on top of the tomb to which the pope claims to have "translated" Ignatius' body from Antioch.

Can you just imagine two very frail old men moving a dead body eighteen hundred miles (1,800 miles) in the First Century, after it had just been half eaten by wild lions !!!

At any rate, thus the name ROMAN Catholic Church, because it was indeed a forced partnership between; (1) Emperor Trajan's Roman empire, (2) what was then being "portrayed" by the wicked Roman government to be Christianity, and, (3) pagan gods, teachings, rites, rituals, chantings, and ceremonies.

Thereafter, at the direction of Trajan the emperor, the so-called "church" did indeed combine Christianity with PAGANISM. Thus, all the obviously pagan pomp, ceremonies, and utterly absurd rituals that one still sees being openly carried out by the modern Roman Catholic church.  Such as the use of big tall pointed hats, costumes, swinging pots of burning incense, glitz, glitter, chantings, antics, and so on ...

None of which were ever practiced, nor any part of Christianity during the days of Christ.

"Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?"   (Isaiah 29:16)

"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator..."   (Romans 1:25)
 

In order to make Christians accept the fact that they were going to be forced to merge with pagan gods, ceremonies, and traditions, a general persecution was threatened by Trajan,  and death was named as the penalty for anyone who refused to offer the demanded sacrifice of combining Christianity with PAGANISM...Thereby did the Roman Catholic Church acquire its all but instant, very large, roster of members, MOST of whom were PAGANS, and most of whom never even altered their beliefs.  Whereas, pagans were also forced to merge their beliefs with Christians, and to join the Roman church !!

Thereby, did most of the obviously false pagan doctrines find their way into most modern day Protestant churches as well.  Many of which doctrines, we will identify later in this text.  Keep in mind that for over the next thousand years, the ROMAN church was the only church that existed, and that over generations, people will forget many things.

In fact, since the days of Trajan, people (and churches) have changed their doctrinal beliefs to suit their particular likings and to serve their particular needs,.and have completely ignored ALMIGHTY GOD'S Decree that HIS church is to be a place of PRAYER.. NOT a place for entertainment; NOT a place for social events; NOT a place where you go to gossip; And for sure, NOT a place where you go to buy things !!

Church was, and is still supposed to be, a place of PRAYER.  ...Period.

"...It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."   (Jesus, in Matthew 21:13).

It was in fact alleged that, as his part in forming the Roman Catholic Church, "saint" Ignatius provided such self-serving, allegedly written by him, declarations as: "The pope is GOD on earth,"  "Wherever the Catholic Church is, there is Christ,"  "Anything approved by a bishop is pleasing to God," and so on.  All of which absolutely contradict everything that Ignatius had been previously famous for writing and teaching against.

As for the Catholic church's claim that "Anything approved by a bishop" is pleasing to God:  Perhaps the bishops who recently approved the molestation of young boys by their parish priests chose to overlook this declaration.

.After which, as a method to force its poor, illiterate, peasant members to buy high profit statues, trinkets, medals, tracts, relics, and other worthless junk to finance the operation of the church:  The catholic church then proceeded to literally "invent" most of its first so-called "saints" out of thin air,  so it could claim this money making garbage was in some way associated with these purely fictional, non-existent people that they (supposedly Ignatius and emperor Trajan) were claiming to be "saints".  In many instances telling people this trash had actually TOUCHED these purely invented fictional people, so the "church" could charge them higher prices for it.

One such purely invented saint was "saint" Christopher, whom the Catholic church STILL, to this day, uses this non-existent "saint" to sell a billion dollars worth of related statues, tracts, medals, and related junk every year,  and as well, has its members worship and pray to ole saint Chris.  Whom, by the way, according to the church's own official encycleopedia, ole saint Christopher was eighteen feet tall, and had the head of a dog !!!

... Therefore, the church did indeed obviously INVENT ole Chris out of thin air.

Stemming from which acts:  Later came the worship of Mary and Joseph, whom Christ had never in any way even implied should be worshipped and/or prayed to; and, as part of the above came at least. FORTY.other so-called "saints" who in reality, the church now readily admits had never even existed as human beings, but were fraudulently fabricated by the "church" out of thin air.  All for the purpose of bilking its members out of billions of dollars by selling them high profit, alleged to be related junk;. which their members were taught to worship, and in fact told that they should actually pray to !!!

So, how does one distinguish between what Christ in fact taught, and what Almighty God has always taught,. verses,. what the herein described "blending" of pagan gods, rituals, ceremonies, and traditions that were forced onto early Christians by the Roman church, and which remain as an integral part of today's.PROTESTANT.churches ???

Doing so is quite easy.  It is also never failing.

First off,  ALL pagan gods and traditions were invented by man, for the purpose of serving man.

In other words, no matter which pagan god, teaching, or tradition, a person worships or believes in, many of which are found in today's PROTESTANT churches, he or she does so believing that this god, teaching, or tradition is somehow at his or her beckon call, to somehow do for him or her something that they cannot do for themselves.  Such as, in many cases, give, or get for them, some type of material thing.

So much for ALL the "Gimme - Gimme - Gimme" doctrines, and as well, so much for ALL the "prosperity" doctrines !! . ... THEY  ARE  ALL  PAGAN  DOCTRINES  !!!

However, if you study Scripture you will find that contrary to pagan teachings, rituals, and ceremonies, The Most High God (The Almighty God - The Only Living God) created man to serve Him,.NOT, so that HE would have a bunch of human beings to serve.

Moreover, we were never promised anything other than that God shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  NEVER, were we promised that HE would supply our needs according to His riches on earth !!  (See Philippians 4:19)

If you take note from Scripture,  God in fact places so little value on pure gold, that He uses it to pave streets.   (Revelation 21:21)

To which God also added that He will kill her (the fourth empire's) children with death; and all the churches shall know that it is He who searches the reigns and hearts of men: and that He will give to every one of us according to our works.(Revelation 2:23)

Moreover, in addition to expecting us to clothe the naked, visit the sick, and to visit those in prison, God further defined "works" as YOU being ready to communicate, and willing to distribute what YOU know in your heart to be the true the Word of God.   (1-Timothy 2:18)

And moreover, we are to study His Word FOR OURSELVES (in private) in order to show ourselves approved by God, and to be a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing His word.  (See 2-Timothy 2:15.)    Doing so will eliminate any possibility of having some church, preacher, or pastor convey to you false church doctrines that will take you straight to hell.

Therefore, there is no free ride:. If a doctrine, teaching, and/or tradition implies that God is there to serve YOU,.it is, in every instance, a pagan teaching, ritual, or tradition;  You are practicing PAGANISM;. And none of it is based on, nor is it pleasing to, The Most High God, nor is it pleasing to Jesus, the Risen Christ.

Add to that, the fact that, no matter how much you might like them, or even admire them, anyone teaching you to practice any type of PAGAN teaching or ritual, and/or teaching you to honor or worship any type of PAGAN god, is not only buying himself or herself a one way ticket to hell, they are buying YOU one as well.

"Therefore, said The Lord Of Hosts, concerning teachers and prophets who teach and prophesy false doctrines: "I sent them not, yet they say the Destruction and famine I promised shall not effect their land!  Therefore by way of My Destruction, and My Famine, shall those teachers and prophets themselves be consumed. And the people TO WHOM they teach and prophesy shall be cast out in the streets because of the Destruction and Famine I promised; and they shall have no one to bury them.  Neither them, nor their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters:  For I will also pour out their. TEACHER'S. wickedness upon they themselves.  (also Jeremiah 14:15-16)

And, love them as you no doubt do, the above also applies to your pastor, and/or your preacher, and/or to your Sunday School teacher.  It as well applies to all those on tv who are begging for money, and/or coming up with con games, and/or their stupid "love-gift" offers to try to GET you to send them money.

"And said unto them ...  ... make not my Father's house a house of merchandise." (Jesus, in John 2:16)

Although some churches teach as an absolute doctrine, that Jesus loves the individual person, and that He expects nothing in return:  Only the first half of this teaching can be supported by Scripture.

Like many modern day doctrines, the idea that Christ expects nothing in return has its roots in pagan traditions.  It cannot be found in Scripture.

The Scriptural fact is that, although Jesus does love the individual, and has promised Eternal Life to anyone who will confess Him as their personal Savior, repent of their sins, and try to sin no more:  To obtain His promised Salvation, it must be YOU serving HIM, and/or YOU serving His Heavenly Father.  If it's the other way around, it's a PAGAN teaching, doctrine, or ritual.  And you know the consequences.

There. ARE. no exceptions.

ETERNAL LIFE:  1. Life without beginning or end.
