THE GREAT PRETERIST DECEPTION The most common verses of Scripture cited by "peterists" to serve their agenda, are Matthew 23:36 and 24:34; Mark 8:38; and Luke 21:31: Which they contemptuously use against ALL established Christianity, to falsely claim that Jesus has ALREADY had His Second Coming; That it took place in the year 70 A.D.; And at which time, all prophecy was fulfilled by the destruction of Jerusalem in the year 70 A.D. They then go on to then falsely claim that JERUSALEM, The Lord's Cherished City, was the demonic fourth kingdom mentioned in the Books of Daniel and Revelation, et al.
Then, in order to try to get their above said false claims to make sense: The "peterists" have knowingly, intentionally, and quite demonically, twisted The Lord Jesus' use of the word "generation", which all of them readily concur with ALL authoritive Bible Scholars, was the Ancient Greek word "GENEA" in the original manuscript: To imply that Jesus was referring to the people (generation) to whom He was then speaking; which, IF TRUE, would make their case that all Christians are following a false religion.
...Which was obviously - NOT - our Lord's intent.
To wit:
With regard to Matthew 24:34, the "peterists" try to ram it down Christian's throats that Jesus was referring to people that He was, at that time, speaking to. To wit:
"Verily I say unto you, This genea (generation) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
However, pursuant to ALL authorities on Ancient Greek, some of whom we have provided herein below:
THIS, is how Matthew 24:34 would read if the reader were to substitute the TRUE meaning of the Greek word "GENEA".
"Verily I say unto you, This offspring (future) generation [genea] shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
Thereby referring to a generation in the future, and NOT in any way referring to the people Jesus was speaking to.

SEE:http://kypros.org/cgi-bin/lexiconOnce you reach this site, type the word GENEA into the box on the left; Check the box marked "Ancient", which refers to Ancient Greek; Then, simply click on the "find" buttonand read the area marked "INSTRUCTIONS". This will tell you all there is to know about the word "GENEA" as used in the Ancient Greek language.http://bible.crosswalk.com/Lexicons/Greek/This is the Christian site for the translating of Greek Words, as done by RECENT biblical scholars who have ignored the ACTUAL Ancient Greek word "GENEA", and in its place, used SEVERAL more modern Greek words (not Ancient Greek) which they FELT might be appropriate.However, please take note from (http://kypros.org/cgi-bin/lexicon), that there IS no such word as "GENEA" in the modern Greek language, and that THIS reference has substituted the words ajgenealovghtoß, geneav(which is modern Greek for the word generation), genealogevw, and genealogiva.
But the IMPORTANT thing to note, is that NONE of these words in ANY reference at all, imply the "immediate" generation to whom Jesus was speaking.
Moreover, in Ancient Greek, there was only ONE meaning for the word "GENEA", and that was "OFFSPRING GENERATION", which in modern terms, implies a FUTURE generation.
Now, lets take the other verses of Scripture that "preterists" use to try to destroy a person's faith, and insert the TRUE meaning of the original word "GENEA". To wit:
"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful future generation (genea); (Mark 8:38)
"Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this future generation (genea)." (Matthew 23:36)
"Verily I say unto you, This future generation (genea) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34)
Verily I say unto you, This future generation (genea) shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled." (Luke 21:31)
Thereby blowing the "peterist's" demonic claims that all prophecy was fulfilled in Jesus' day, out of the water;
Thereby blowing the "peterist's" demonic claims that Jesus Second Coming has already taken place, out of the water;
And, thereby blowing the "peterist's" demonic claims that JERUSALEM was the subject fourth kingdom, out of the water.
And, thereby proving beyond any doubt that "preterism" is nothing but a common fraud..
